CHRIS

Chris is an accredited Solution Focused Practitioner and a registered nurse, with over 30 years’ experience of working in mental health.

Chris worked for many years as a mental health nurse in NHS and private hospitals. He also has wide-ranging experience in higher education, including roles as a Student Wellbeing Adviser and a guest lecturer on the nursing degree programme at the University of Surrey.

Since training in Solution Focused Practice in 2017, Chris has provided therapy and coaching through his private practice. He is a Director of the UK Association of Solution Focused Practice and a member of the Solution Focused Universe (SFU), an online learning community. Chris also writes the popular Keep Calm and Solution Focused blog.
