
KERRY
Kerry is a qualified counsellor, who uses Solution Focused practice in her work. Experienced in working with people of all ages on different issues, she has a particular interest in supporting people with addictions.
Before her counselling training, Kerry was a school catering manager. Working in this busy environment required daily problem-solving skills and the ability to think on her feet. She credits this experience as the foundation of her Solution Focused approach.
A keen rower, Kerry loves being in and on the water, describing time by the sea as essential to her mental health and wellbeing. She also uses Solution Focused practice while coaching others to improve their rowing.
Kerry is registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

It has increased my self compassion, reduced my critical thinking, I feel more myself, more capable and more confident than when I started. This has translated into action, I still have to be incredibly aware of managing my health conditions but this is done with kindness and valuing myself rather than berating myself that I 'should' be more able.
